We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial office portfolio totaling approximately 500,000 square feet across seven properties in Houston. This role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure high-quality tenant service, efficient building operations, and strong financial performance.

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a commercial office portfolio totaling approximately 500,000 square feet across seven properties in Houston. This role works closely with the Property Manager to ensure high-quality tenant service, efficient building operations, and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations of multiple office properties
- Serve as a primary point of contact for tenant requests and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate maintenance and vendor services; oversee service contracts
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
- Review and process invoices, track expenses, and assist with reconciliations
- Conduct property inspections to ensure appearance and maintenance standards
- Assist with lease administration, including abstracting and tracking key dates
- Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs and buildout activities
- Ensure compliance with building policies, procedures, and safety regulations
- Support capital improvement projects as needed
- 2–5+ years of experience in commercial property management (office preferred)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and tenant relations abilities
- Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar)
- Basic understanding of leases, CAM reconciliations, and budgeting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Salary Range: $65,000 – $85,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Performance-based bonus potential
- Full-time, Monday – Friday
- Standard business hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Occasional after-hours availability may be required for emergencies or special projects
